About

I am drawn to Scotland’s quiet strength — its weathered stone, open landscapes, and evolving cities shaped by northern light. Through Soul of Alba, I seek to capture not just how these places appear, but how they feel: grounded, enduring, and quietly powerful.

My approach is deliberate and unhurried. I spend time observing the way light settles across a façade, how cloud and shadow reshape a mountain, how atmosphere softens or sharpens a scene. Composition begins in the field, but the final image is carefully refined in post-production — where tone, texture, and balance are shaped with restraint to reflect the mood I experienced in that moment. The intention is never to exaggerate, but to distill.

Whether historic architecture, elemental landscape or modern urban form, each photograph is crafted to reveal structure, depth and presence.

Every piece is produced as a museum-quality fine art print, created for collectors who value craftsmanship, subtlety, and images that endure beyond the moment they were captured.
