In processing this image, I leaned into a warm, painterly aesthetic with subtle sepia undertones and carefully balanced contrast to enhance the timeless character of the scene. By emphasising the intricate stonework, elegant symmetry, and soft natural light filtering through the surrounding trees, I wanted to evoke a sense of discovery — as though stepping into a quieter chapter of Scotland’s past.
